As a
Capstone Project -a project where you apply the skills and competencies that I
have acquired on the BTE program to a business support project in a real
setting. So for such project I chose not only a random project where I
could apply my skills but something that will actually make a change and serve
others. For Capstone Project I chose to work with my church on putting together
an annual conference, called Because Jesus. With this big project there are a
lot of opportunities to apply my skills and I am excited to work on this. Last
week I was talking to people who oversee this event, I’d like to call them managers
for this time of the event and since I’ll be reporting to them!
So, some of
the things we discussed are most importantly the dates when the deliverables
are due. I think it’s very important to have dates that you must submit to because
that way you’re organized and not overwhelmed.
Next week I
plan on start creating a form in order for people to start signing up for the conference.
