Because Jesus Conference '18

Continuing working on this project last week, I have some updates on how things are going. First of all, I was able to create an Excel to do list, with main task and their due dates. I find it very useful to have to-do-lists and update them as you go. I am uploading an image of the list so you have an idea of what it looks like.  Also, I was able to work together with Anton and Igor - developers,  on creating an online shop with the event's merchandise and it's up and running now. All I need to do is make sure that Max, who is going to be in charge of the inventory has access to the account and is able to get all the information he needs! As a Capstone Project -a project where you apply the skills and competencies that I have acquired on the BTE program to a business support project in a real setting. So for such project I chose not only a random project where I could apply my skills but something that will actually make a change and serve others. For Capstone Project I chose to work with my church on putting together an annual conference, called Because Jesus. With this big project there are a lot of opportunities to apply my skills and I am excited to work on this. Last week I was talking to people who oversee this event, I’d like to call them managers for this time of the event and since I’ll be reporting to them! So, some of the things we discussed are most importantly the dates when the deliverables are due. I think it’s very important to have dates that you must submit to because that way you’re organized and not overwhelmed.
